Practice Areas: We Can Help You When …

Personal Injury

If you were hurt in a car crash, in a store or on someone’s property, bitten by a dog, or hurt by something you bought, then you may have a “personal injury” claim. Call Brad, Scott or Jennifer to find out if you are entitled to compensation for your medical bills, lost income, property damage, or for lost enjoyment of life. We handle these cases on a contingency basis, which means we are only paid if we recover money on your behalf.

Guardianship/Conservatorship

If you are caring for a grandchild or a child who is not your own because their parents cannot or are not able, you can petition to be named their legal guardian by the Court. Likewise, if you have an adult family member or other loved one that can no longer care for themselves or their finances, you can petition the court to appoint you as a conservator. Jennifer handles these cases on an hourly basis.

Employment Disputes

Do you have problems at work, such as wrongful termination, workplace discrimination or harassment, or Labor Code claims? Scott represents employers on an hourly basis and employees on either a contingency or hourly basis.

Family Law

Do you need advice on ending a marriage or domestic partnership, dividing property or setting up a visitation schedule for your children? Scott handles these cases on an hourly basis.

Professional Malpractice

Did your doctor, accountant, lawyer, or other professional make a mistake? Scott and Brad handle these cases on a contingency basis.

Real Estate

Do you have real property issues, from a sale to a neighbor dispute, homeowners’ association problem, or an easement issue, we can help. Scott handles most of these cases on an hourly basis, although some can be on a contingency basis.

Landlord/Tenant Disputes

Do you have a problem with your rental, such as evictions or rent issues? Jennifer represents clients in landlord/tenant disputes on an hourly basis.

Insurance Bad Faith

Did your insurance company treat you unfairly, such as refuse to fairly investigate a claim, undervalue a property loss, or challenge a legitimate disability? Brad and Scott represent clients in these disputes on a contingency basis.

Business Disputes

We represent clients with business disputes, such as relations with partners, customers, and vendors. We represent partnerships and corporations, dba’s and solo practitioners. Scott and Jennifer represent clients in these matters on an hourly basis, although a contingency basis may be available under some circumstances.

Litigation

Litigation involves disputes that are in Court. If you were hurt, need to protect a loved one, have an employment problem, or need any other type of help, you can count on us. Brad, Scott, and Jenn handle some of these cases on an hourly basis and others on a contingency basis.

Most of our practice involves some sort of court work.
